My blue 2CV AZLP (an AZL with the extra 'P' for Porte de Malle) is one of the first 2CVs produced with a metal trunk lid, which could be ordered as an option starting in '57. In addition to the trunk lid (P), it also features a slightly larger rear window and a slightly more powerful engine compared to the standard 2CV at the time. Furthermore, this more luxurious version is equipped with a centrifugal clutch, allowing you to start off in second and third gear without using the clutch.
This is a rare car.
The AZLP Blue Glacier has always been the most sought-after model in France. This beauty has a lovely French patina; it was driven in France until 2022, owned by a man who was also a part-time mayor in Chabrignac.
In the Netherlands, it has been thoroughly inspected and, where necessary, completely serviced by specialists. The patina has been preserved. This is an original car with the typical signs of use after years of loyal service. It still drives well, even reaching speeds over 80 km/h. Moreover, it is very complete; everything is still there, including the original fifth spare wheel, the starters crank, and even the wooden blocks.
