The Ferrari 458 Challenge was revealed at the 2010 Bologna motor show at the time the latest mid-engined V8 to be optimised for Ferrari’s one-make racing series, following on from successful racers based on the 355, F430 and slotting into Ferrari’s circuit range beneath the exclusive FXX and 599XX track cars.

The 458 Challenge possessed the same 4.5-litre V8 engine as its road-going equivalent, the Ferrari 458 Italia, boasting 562bhp and 398lb ft, and a theoretical 200mph+ top speed.

After running the 458 Challenge cars for three years Ferrari mandated an update to Challenge Evoluzione-spec for 2014

The 458 Challenge Evo performance is boosted by the addition of an aerodynamic kit including large rear wing similar to that used in GT competitions. The EVO upgrade also delivers a new front splitter and an even better designed underbody, which allowed the Ferrari engineers to fit stiffer front springs and improve the braking system.

Fastidiously maintained and in impeccable cosmetic and mechanical condition this Ferrari 458 Challenge EVO is ready to race.

The car is currently eligible for multiple championships including GT CUP, Britcar Endurance Championship, Ferrari Club Racing Series, Amoc Racing GT Challenge and can be used on silenced track days also.
