Ferrari unveils the Purosangue in 2022, it marks an historic milestone for the Italian firm, as it is its very first SUV, a segment that the manufacturer had previously forbidden itself from. It stands out with its own identity, in particular thanks to its 12-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, a prodigy with nowadays european laws, but also because of its innovative design with suicide doors.

On the technological side, the Ferrari Purosangue stands out with innovations that are new for the brand. It features all-wheel drive, a smart choice for an SUV, and an active suspension system that uses electric actuators to instantly adjust the stiffness of the suspensions, providing a balance between comfort and sportiness. The interior is equipped with the most advanced technologies, including a driver-oriented digital cockpit, multiple touchscreens and a fluid user interface. Ferrari has successfully combined the DNA of its sports cars with more practical and user-friendly features, without sacrificing its heritage.

The Purosangue impresses with its 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, capable of delivering 725 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and 716 Nm of torque. It can reach a top speed of 193 mph and goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. These figures place the Purosangue among the fastest and most powerful SUVs on the market, while maintaining Ferrari-specific driving dynamics, thanks to near-ideal weight distribution and unrivaled handling. These extraordinary performances underline Ferrari’s goal: to offer an SUV that remains, above all, a true sports car.
