A jármű leírása
Specifications:
History:
Chassis number 647346 was sold through James L. Cook Motors in Toronto, Canada, to its first owner, H.G. Colehook. The original colour combination was Black paint, Red leather and a French Grey soft top.
In the small history file of the MK V DHC there is a Pennsylvania Title, issued on 16 May 1962, on the name of Alyson Costello. In 1994 the MK V DHC was sold by Alyson Costello to Randy Aagaard in Salt Lake City, Utah. Noble House bought the Jaguar from this collector in 1996.
After receiving at Noble House, the DHC was dismantled and chassis/ body were grit blasted. The chassis needed a mild restoration, which was carried out. After the steelwork restoration, the chassis was repainted in black. Front suspension parts were powder coated , the chassis was built together and made rolling again. The body tub is partially restored and refitted on the chassis.
As the Jaguar MK V DHC was missing some parts when purchased, Noble House bought a LHD MK V Saloon, to add the missing parts to the DHC and as extra source of parts .
Due to circumstances the project was never finished and the pair of Jaguar MK V is offered for sale. A unique opportunity to obtain an already started restoration, which is easy to finish.
