From 1984 to 1989 only 1.397 Coupe WTL were built, 1.128 of them LHD. Of those, 757 were for North American market and just 371 were ROW (the one on sale belongs to these ones).

This Werks Turbo Look car has always been very well maintained, is in a dream condition without restoration and, of course, is matching numbers.

As every enthusiast know, the Carrera 3.2 WTL has the width and weight of the 930 Turbo, but with the low power of the natural aspirated 3.2, what makes the car a bit clumsy. Moreover, the 930 Turbo engine only delivers his power at high revs, what makes these cars uncomfortable for a normal drive.

With the aim of getting the best of both worlds, two years ago, with 150.766 km on the odometer, the car was sent to, probably, the best air-cooled specialist in Europe, to get the engine completely overhaled to 3.4. We obtained 262 CV and a lot more torque, what makes this car amazing to drive. A complete chassis revision was also performed, with a total of 40.000 € invested.
